Voutsa – A Powerful voice and stomach punching beats from Finland

Mikko „Voutsa“ Voutilainen and Atte Pohjonen know each other from school. They started to make music together when they were teenagers. 2016 they came up with the idea to create powerful metal covers of famous pop and rock songs. Their first one was a Stig cover of the song „Niks ja Naks“ . One of the coolest metal covers so far is a Billie Eilish cover of the song „Bad Guy“ in an amazing Rammstein version. Now the two guys from Finland have published their own first double single. In an inspiring interview the two metal heads tell us more, about their two own songs „Syöksykierre“ and „Saatto“, about their band history and what they love about powerful metal beats and screaming vocal techniques. Have you already heard of the German-Finnish melodic metal band Averlanche from Helsinki? Lead singer Rebecca Spörl immigrated from Germany to Finland in 2014. In 2019 she was awarded as “Finland’s biggest metal fan”. In May 2020, Rebecca and her band Averlanche released their debut single „The Sounds of Insomnia“. The first album will be published at the end of 2020. How she came up with the idea to immigrate to Finland in order to start a music career in a Finnish metal band and what characterizes the music of  Averlanche, she tells us in an inspiring interview. Schon oft habe ich gehört, dass die Liebe zu Finnland mit finnischer Musik begann. Auch Eva, unsere Gewinnerin des Finnlandstory-Preiswettbewerb hat das Finnlandfieber gepackt. Dark Ride Brothers – A Finnish pop-rock band takes over the music world by storm

I think you already know the Dark Ride Brothers, a rising pop-rock band from Eastern Finland. The guys have been on concert tour in Germany, Switzerland and Italy in summer 2019. And they have published some really nice road movies episodes about their adventures during the tour on YouTube. In the meantime, the band has also released two new songs: “Caught in your Game” and “Bite the Silence”. I have talked to the band guitarists Vesa Winberg and Sven Langbein about their “Dark Ride Brothers Reloaded Tour 2019”, new music and how the corona crises has affected their music business. Bailout – Trumpet melodies meet alternative metal and hard rock from Finland

(promotion)* Finland is known as the land of heavy metal. Today, I would like to present you the Finnish band Bailout, a really cool alternative metal and hard rock band from Jyväskylä. The band has developed a fascinating music style. The five guys combine groovy heavy metal and hard rock vibes with melodic trumpet melodies. In February the band released their second album “Road to Redemption”. (Werbung)* Michaela Kyllönen liebt Finnland, die finnische Sprache und Kultur. Eine besondere Verbindung hat sie zur finnischen Musik. Vor allem Volks-, Kinder- und Weihnachtslieder aus Finnland haben es ihr angetan. Denn Michaela ist ausgebildete Musikpädagogin und schätzt das finnische Wissen in der musikalischen Frühförderung von Kindern sowie die lebendige Fortbildungskultur in Finnland. Heavy Breathers – Desert rock from the Finnish tundra with a cold breath from the north

Trees – “Saimaa Folk” from the woods and blue lakes of Southern Savonia
