Nowadays, Finland is well known for its great metal music. No other country has as many metal bands per capita as Finland. That’s why Finland is often called “the country of Heavy Metal”. But why are there so many good metal bands from Finland? And how has the Finnish metal scene changed over the years from its beginnings in the 80s up to the present day?
